Stephen P. Ireland, M.D.

A native Oregonian, Doctor Ireland graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from the University Of Oregon Health Sciences Center.  He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, during which he served as a Clinical Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.  He was a resident in Neurology at The University of California Medical Center in San Francisco, California.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Neurology.  He has practiced Neurology in Bend, Oregon since 1992.  In 2000 he served as Medical Staff President at Saint Charles Medical Center.  He enjoys all aspects of his practice, but has a special interest in headache treatment and multiple sclerosis.  He has given talks to physician and patient groups statewide on these topics.

Dr. Ireland, his wife Lynae and four children love the Central Oregon life style.  They breed and show Morgan and Peruvian horses and are active in skiing, backpacking, cycling and surfing.

Dr. Ireland views his opportunity to serve Central Oregon patients, and the associations he has made with these patients over the years, as a wealth that can not be counted.  He is passionate in his commitment to give all his patients the highest quality of neurological care.
